Breakfast Club
at Cheers
Back to recent social events
What a great breakfast it was with our speaker David Lewis who gave a
really informative presentation about his career in the RAF flying F4
Phantoms and Tornados in bases all around the world, including watching
Russian bears , and then his time with Bae systems
working with them to test various armaments and anti missile flairs and then the icing on the cake
delivering jets to various countries around the world. Thanks Dave.

Another success for the Alcossebre Gentlemen's breakfast
organised by Mac with 38 persons attending. This time the speaker was Jan
from Torrenostra who was one of the consulting engineers for the project, he
gave an interesting overview of Schiphol Airport in Holland and some
of the project problems..

The last Alcossebre
breakfast held on July 7th at Alcossebre Bowls Club.
This months speaker was Dave Merrington (ex professional footballer and Southampton manager) and topic was
"Football and his position as a Christian in sport"
The breakfast was excellent, 25 people attended and 100 euros were made. The
tickets were 10 euros and included 2 raffle tickets. The raffle was won by
Paul!!!
It's a great way of
getting together with our friends and listening to a good speaker so if you have
any idea's of for speakers then do contact
