Here’s a great opportunity to ‘drop in’ for a decent breakfast, meet old and new friends,

and have a natter, relaxing over sausage, bacon & egg and a delicious coffee or two.

Directions to Cafe del Mon tero

If travelling along the Costa Norte, the cafe is in the Avda Francisco José Balada

[main north coast road] opposite the Spar shop.

From the N340 travelling from Alcossebre/Peñiscola, turn right immediately after Porky's Club. At the end of that road, on the left, is the Spar supermarket, and the café is facing you, on the other side of the main road.

If you would like to join us at our next breakfast,

we'd love to see you, and you'd be assured of a  warm welcome.

Breakfasts at 9:30 a.m. in Cafe del Mon-tero.

Vinarós: Phone Dave May for details of the next date:  964-496169

The idea has now been extended to Alcossebre - see "Alcossebre Breakfast Club".

On Tuesday morning - 18th August - Canon Max Wigley attended the "Gents Breakfast Club" in Vinarós, and gave an inspiring talk on his activities in the theatrical world, and the many characters he had met, and who had come to know Christ.

...

Max's talk went down a treat !

The breakfast was attended by some twenty men from Alcossebre, Peñiscola and Vinarós.

Of course some of these meetings seem to require strange clothing - especially headgear - to be worn by officials

Our inaugural breakfast at the end of January 2009, was a very happy get-together, enjoyed by over twenty gentlemen, some members of the church, others their good friends.....

After the breakfast we were entertained to a talk by Michael Cowdery, about his days in the army, and some of the escapades he got up to on horse-back....and off. Just as well Pamela wasn't there. Michael then drew the raffle ticket....

Michael entertains with stories of his musical adventures during his army career.

And the winning ticket is held by .....

Mac from Alcossebre, to whom the bottles are safely delivered.
