THE QUEST FOR A NEW PRIEST IN CHARGE
Following a recruitment interview panel this week the Bishop and our
representatives agreed not to proceed with this application. It is important
that the right man be found for this task and all those involved felt that
a longer interregnum was better than a hasty appointment. Please pray for
God´s guidance and provision for St Christopher´s. |

ALPHA BRINGS A CHALLENGE AND OPPORTUNITY
The
Alpha Course got off to a fine start – despite one attender being
temporarily locked in the loo! – and continues on Wednesday at 1pm in El
Camino. This week there is a faith lunch – everyone brings something to
share. Alpha is for church members and people seeking to find faith or to
deepen their understanding. You can join at any stage and will find the
sharing and fellowship a blessing in itself.
Please
do not let the opportunity pass you by. Come and sample Alpha this week.

Do you fancy making a few extra cakes or savouries that can be sold in our Drop-in Centres in
Alcossebre and Vinaros they are not only part of the church’s ministry but vital

CHURCH PRAYER LIST AND
HOSPITAL VISITS
Please help us to keep our
church prayer lists up to date and inform us of progress of people for whom
prayers have been requested. Paul is willing to visit people
in hospital (they do not have to be church attendees or members) but we do
need to know quickly who is in hospital, where they are and that they would
welcome a visit.
It is
not always possible to tell you who everyone is on our Prayer List so please
ask for more details if you need your prayers to be better informed. |
